These are a some of my tunes, all instrumental guitar stuff. Been playing for about 24 years off and on. Never been in
a band or anything so my chops don't quite reflect 24 years of playing. I've gone a year or more without even picking up
a guitar. I've always wanted a four-track recorder but could'nt ever justify buying one, so I would use my duel-tape
boombox to make some crappy sounding recordings. There's nothing more frustrating than coming up with a cool new riff and
not having a way save it. Some of them stay in my head, but they all can't possible fit. And, since I don't play in a band
or even get to jam with my buddies anymore...getting old...there's the overwelming urge to make music, not just play guitar
by myself. A cool riff can't turn into a cool song unless you record it and jam with it, so I was getting frustrated and
not playing much. But, in the last 2 years I discovered how to use my computer as recording studio for cheap...all I had
to buy was a good microphone, a Shure SM-57, and some software that was "loaned" ;-) to me and "BAM" I have a band living
in my computer, even a drummer. So, most of these tunes are just extended jam sessions, sometimes I get long winded and
play too much. I've just recently started trying to restrain myself and think about the song as not just one long guitar
solo, that can get tiresome after a while.
If you like 'em, drop me a line in my guestbook.
