- I have three guitars. A 2007 Carvin CT6M California Carved Top. A black 1984 Gibson Sonex 180 electric. I replaced the bridge pickup with a DiMarzio Super Distortion. I also have an 1985 or 86 Applause acoustic.
- I have two amps a Peavey Valve King VK112 all tube amp and an old Peavey Special 130, the clean channel is all I use, cuz the built-in overdrive sounds like crap.
- I have a Boss Loop Station RC-2, a very cool little device.
- I just got my hands on a great overdrive stomp-box called "The Tube Factor" by Hughes & Kettner. This thing
has a monsterous sound and just puts my old Ibanez Distortion Charger to shame.
- I just recently got a Digitech GNX 3000 multi effects proccessor with a built in drum machine.
- I also use a Marshall Supervibe Chorus stompbox that sounds pretty nice.
- My pick is one of those Cymbolic picks made out of cymbal brass. It doesn't wear out and has cool metallic sound.
I've heard that they can wear your strings out faster but I've been using one for about five years and haven't noticed any premature string wearage.
- I use a Shure SM-57 microphone to mic my amp and record directly into my M-Audio Delta Audiophile soundcard in my Pentium 4, 2ghz
PC, using Sonar 4 Producer Edition software.
