Summary

In Egypt, Apocalypse he is powering that Eyes of Ages and it causes this huge wind gust where a pyramid is shown. Apocalypse comes out and goes into the pyramid.

Mesmero is at his make-up desk talking about Apocalypse when Logan shreds the outside of the tent and demands answers about Apocalypse. He runs away but Jean TKs him against a tent still wanting answers. He just chuckles saying that Apocalypse is a great threat.

In the X-mansion, Jean tells Xavier that she can't get anything from him. Xavier tells Mesmero that he won't be as gentle as Jean. Mesmero tells them that Apocalypse plans to change most of the humans dormant chromosomes in humans, turning them into mutants. Storm asks 'most' and Mesmero responds that most may not survive.

Xavier asks what it has to do with the sphinx and the pyramids, but Mesmero doesn't say anything. Xavier prys into his mind and it reveals that the power source is within them. He then goes off to the prepped X-Jet. Jean follows and knows exactly that Xavier is going to confront Apocalypse. He says he is, but Jean wants her to accompany him. Xavier tells her that she needs to stay for the students and enters the X-Jet. Jean seems to know that he may not come back.

In Egypt in the sphinx, Apocalypse enters with the Eyes of Ages and goes into the technology. He grasps a handle and instantly blue armor is surrounding his body.


Xavier and Storm arrive at the sphinx where Apocalypse is and Storm asks Xavier not to go through with it. He responds sooner than later. Accompany his Cerebro-on-the-go helmet on (as well as the students watching him in the Cerebro room) Xavier confronts him and asks what is plans are and that the should compromise.

Apocalypse doesn't want to and flicks his helmet off (with TK?). He then uses TK(?) to pick Xavier up, but Storm comes and sends lightning bolts his way. Apocalypse grunts, yet lifts Storm up too. Soon the same light that surrounded Magneto surrounds them and they disappear. Jean sees this and runs out of Cerebro crying.

Jean blames herself for Xavier's death because she knew and he knew this was going to happen. Cyclops goes to her and comforts her saying that he knew what was going to happen all along.

A S.H.I.E.L.D. helicopter comes and lands in the courtyard. It's Nick Fury and he goes to tell the X-Men not to interfere with it because more mutants equal more trouble. Logan is reluctant, but Nick tells him they have a plan. They enter Cerebro and tell Beast to do a close up on one of the sphinx where sentinels are approaching it.

Logan goes into a fury and asks why they resurrected it. Nick said it wasn't his fault, he was ordered to tell Trask to. Logan growls.

In Egypt the sentinels continue to attack the sphinx, but Apocalypse comes out and fights them, automatically he's winning. Logan scoffs at their defense, but Fury says that it's just a distraction and tells him to do a close-up on one of the domes. Beast does it and sees sentinels attacking the domes, but because of the domes having atomic sub-dividers, the attack doesn't repel and causes the dome to fade away. Beast thinks this is brilliant, but Logan knows it won't be that easy.

Apocalypse finishes the battle, but has visions about his other domes being attacked. He then summons his Four Horsemen: Xavier, Mystique, Magneto, and Storm. Everybody in the mansion is in shock. He then commands the Horsemen to go protect the domes: Storm (FAMINE) in China; Xavier (DEATH) and Mystique (PESTILENCE) in Egypt, and Magneto (WAR) in Mexico.

Nick Fury doesn't have any other options except the X-Men and Logan takes charge of it. Logan tells them that they need four teams, one at each pyramid and the sphinx. He tells Kitty to start at the Brotherhood, Kurt to find Spyke, Jean and Scott to look for anybody, and Rogue for a special assignment.

Kitty is at the Brotherhood asking if anybody wants to help. Lance answers and asks his members, but nobody is actually paying attention. Kitty implores him, but Lance says that if Magneto can't they can't and shuts the door. Wanda walks down the stairs and sees this and goes to Kitty joining her.

Xavier is at Mexico and is defending the dome from the sentinels, although the dome is dispersed and is open. The same thing with Storm in China where she sets a great whirlwind disrupting the sentinels, although the dome around the pyramid is gone. As well as the Magneto in Mexico. The dome is dispersed, but the sentinels are destroyed.

Beast is in looking at this via comlink and tells the other X-Men that their powers were GREATLY enhanced and that they were going to have the fight of their lives.

Mystique too morphs from spiders into the bird to defend the dome, but the sentinels have destroyed it.

In Egypt the X-Men have arrived to fight and here are the battle formations:

In Egypt: Xavier vs. Boom-Boom, Multiple, Jean, Magma (X23, Jubilee, or Magma) and Colossus. In Egypt: Mystique vs. Wolverine, Cyclops, and Nightcrawler. In China: Storm vs. Berzerker, Beast, Iceman, and Spyke. In Mexico: Magneto vs. Shadowcat, Sunspot, Havok, Angel, and Scarlet Witch. And the scene ends with a to be continued.
