Rogue is very uncertain about her place in the X-men. She grew up in
Mississippi with her foster mother, Irene, where at a party she touched Cody
and made him unconscious. Confused and lost, she tried sorting things out
but Mystique got to her first. She doesn't know anything about her past and
is equally as uncertain about her future.
Once a part of the Brotherhood, Rogue isn't a bad girl but feels more
comfortable being around them. Rogue tries to alienates herself from
everyone because of her powers, which causes her to be very defensive and to
have a hard time trusting people, especially at times when she remembers
that Mystique used her and deceived her.
Rogue will be one of the X-men's most powerful mutants, once she figures out
how to trust her teammates and control her powers. She is learning still
tough, and she has a special relationship with Nightcrawler, and most
recently, with Wolverine as well.
