You don't have to be suicidal to wonder if your life is worth living. You don't have to be on skid row to feel that you're a loser. You don't have to be locked behind bars to be imprisoned by your own desires. You don't have to be a prostitute to sell your life to others. You don't have to be a playboy to be preoccupied with sex. You don't have to be a drug addict to exist on an artificial "high." You don't have to be a millionaire to be bought by the love of money. You don't have to be psychotic to run from the deeper issues of life. You don't have to be corporate president to live for your job. You don't have to be a garbage collector to think that life stinks. You don't have to drive a BMW to try to find joy in your possessions. You don't have to be homeless to feel lost and out of place in the world. You don't have to be stupid to misunderstand what life is all about. And you don't have to be a genius to discover the real meaning of life.
