Tourbus
!
Hop onto a public bus today and get
a cheap visual tour around Singapore!
Remember to choose a bus with a wonderful
route.
Personally, I recommend bus no. 30 if
you want to get a good city view. It goes
onto the Sheares Bridge! You can see the
city on one side and the sea on the other.
For a heritage trail, you can try bus
no. 67. It passes through Eunos, Geylang
and Little India.

Ice-cold
water !
The weather is really quite
terrible nowadays, we have to try real hard
to keep ourselves cool. What better method
than to start for the inside? Nothing beats
a bottle or glass of ice-cold water on a
hot day, especially in Singapore.
Remember to use a clear
glass or bottle. It heightens the sensation.
With tiny water droplets forming on the
outside of the container, doesn't the water
look inviting? The bottles of water in the
picture on the left looks good enough to
drink!

NBA
!
I bet most of you have
watched NBA matches on TV at some point
of your life. Why stop?
Tune in to the TV and start
watching today! It is currently showing
on SCV. It is still exciting, even without
Michael Jordan. There are still other players
who's skills and flair are not of the human
race.

Tree
watch !
'Garden city, garden city.'
That's the image Singapore has been trying
to sell to others for a long long time...
When you were in primary school, angsana,
frangipanis, pong pong, flame of the forest,
raintree, madras thorn, coconut, royal palm,
traveller's palm etc. were your friends...
What happened? Start noticing them again
today. They are all still around you. Just
pay more attention to these old friends.
Trees actually gives us a silent sense of
security.
See the leaves fall, flowers
bloom, branches sway in the wind. It's really
soothing. Take note of how high they can
reach, the shape of their crown, the shape
of the leaves etc. Ok, you've got it.

SMS
!
Hey! Instead of forwarding
those funny chinese or english messages,
why not type your own!
Simply try to make your
message rhyme! It's easy! I am sure you
can do it! Send a customized one to your
friend and make their day...

Read

Heh, remember those annual
you had to reluctantly pay for in your school
days? Well, take them off the shelf and
start reading it!
Laugh at yourself and the
silly things you did with your friends!

Free
postcards !
Freebies, fellow Singaporeans!
Don't tell me that you are not interested.
Ok, yes, you do not know what to do with
them once you bring them home. BUT, the
joy of taking well-designed cards that you
fancy home and the thrill of stumbling onto
some special cards makes up for it. My friend,
I am sure you CAN find some way to use them
right? Paste them around the room, do a
collage and frame it up, send it, SELL it,
give it away... Whatever you like.

Snack
!
I don't know, but I think
we are lucky to be in Singapore. I mean,
we get snacks from the dark brown, brown,
yellow and white races! From Ken-ken cuttlefish
to preserved plums to chips... From Kacang
putih to muah chee to corn on a cob.
It's actually quite exciting
if you manage to find snacks from your childhood,
eg 'satay', mamee, chickadees, the rooster
packet, jack-n-jill, wu hua guo, ding dang,
toro etc...

National
library !
Hey, this library will
be demolished soon! (I think) Pay a visit
today!
The library is a really
wonderful place to explore. You can pick
up any book and start exploring worlds the
authors created... It's really shiok to
browse around too. Air-con is a plus point!
If I am not mistaken, there is a cafe inside
this library too!

Seaweed
!
This is the latest craze
among some of my friends recently. It is
really addictive! Never mind the fact that
each packet contains only 3 sheets of dried,
crispy, seasoned seaweeds compared to 5
in the past, eating still has that therapeutic
effect! Really?
Once you start, you cannot
stop. We can vouch for it! Try it yourself!
