Introduction to IRC #silat and a words or two
#silat Channel began on 1st March 1996 and was founded by esilat. Since its establishment, it began to grow fast and became popular. #silat is the place where all chatters can meet together regardless of races, ages and countries who loves silat. We continue to grow and remain loyal to our fellow friends. Through all #silat Channel we hope that we can provide a safe environment for our friends to chit-chat. Our motto is "Silat -tu- Rahim" and our goal is to remain as that.
Our vision "Silat-tu-Rahim" ;p which in English means "Silat are loving to each other". With these words in mind, I build this site. The main purpose is to give the Silat fellow friends an alternative avenues for them to interact, to develop a network of friends, to discuss issues and many more. We sincerely hope, that this site will be utilised by our community. #silat was created to serve all silat community in particular but is also open to anybody in general. That's the reason why the silat page is in English & Malay, to give it an international flavour.
The Channel access holder are the chatters who help and promote the channel with their degree of commitment and contribution. Afterwhich will be review anytime of their performance and attendance and also base on the channel voting.
We hope, our visitors will not only have fun here but will also learn or gain something here with one another. We encourage all our visitors to sign our Guestbook to show your support and welcome any suggestions or feedback on improving this site.
