Keikyu
Train Services. ( note that it's not the JR railway. It's another train
company. ) can be boarded at Shinagawa Station.
Yokosuka-
Chou Station.. ( note. this is the wrong exit to hide Museum ) |
To hide Museum
From
central Tokyo area, Hop on to a JR train on the
Yamanote Line (GREEN LINE ) heading towards Ebisu and Shinagawa if you’re
traveling from Shinjuku or Ikebukuro. Alight at Shinagawa station and
transfer to another train (another train company which is the Keikyu line.)
www.keikyu.co.jp Buy the tickets that cost around
600 yen I think…you can get help from English speaking staff at the ticket
purchasing area.
Get on
the express train. Remember be sure to catch the
express one.. The normal service would take a very much longer
time…. Express or normal train service would be indicated on an electronic
board near the train platform area. Destination is also indicated on the
board. Remember to get a train map from the helpful staffs before hopping on
board! If I haven’t gone senile yet, the journey should take you 45 minutes
to yokosuka-chuo station…when you arrived at yokosuka-chuo station, you’re
almost there… now visit
www.hide-city.com for further
instructions and the sights that you would see in your 10-15 minutes of
walking… I hope I have provided you some helpful information about the
“scary” and “complicated” train systems…
Directions from Yokosuka chou station to
hide Museum...There's a map below ( light blue ) It shows the top view of
the train station plaza ( bridge level: not the road level ) .The building
with the large hide banner is on the left hand side of the map. You can take
this landmark to find out the correct direction you have to walk to reach
there. see arrows...
You are free to email me with queries about
the journey from central Tokyo to Yokosuka. All the best for your wonderful
trip to hide Museum~!
