Coincidentally, JAL is recruiting Cabin Attendant. Without much consideration, Yoko applies for the job. On the interview, she has misdressed and even exchanged clothing with a girl who had just finished interviewing. Some days have passed, and surprisingly, Yoko gets the job! Thus, her life in Tokyo begins…
First day arriving Tokyo, Yoko has been unfortunate. She is not able to rent an apartment since mostly where rented out. However, she happens to come across Chiemi whose roommate has runaway. However, Chiemi is weird, and still Yoko decided to stay in her apartment. Then, on the next day, Chiemi announces to Yoko that she has decided to go on a tour, leaving Yoko all alone.
Soon, the first day of training begins. Yoko has befriended two close friends, Yayoi & Yuki. Yayoi happens to be the girl whom Yoko exchanges clothing with, but Yoko has forgotten about it. And as for Yuki, she is the daughter of a pilot in JAL. Saori, the same class trainee has dislikes Yoko for her laziness and unserious. Thus, while Yayoi and Yuki have likes Yoko for her cheerfulness, the other classmates has thought of Yoko otherwise. Mikami, the trainer of Yoko's class is thus worried of Yoko's progress. Thus, while guiding Yoko of the correct ways and enabling Yoko to understanding the services of a Cabin Attendant, Mikami's strictness has side effect on Yoko.
Meanwhile, during the training period, Yoko befriended others than the cabin's group. She came to know Shota (the flight mechanic whom they first met at the train station), pilot trainee Tsutsumi and Captain Pilot Sakurada. As time flies, Yoko realizes that she has begun to like the job. Through others, she also understands what services a cabin attendant mean. However, during the training period, Trainer Mikami feels that Yoko doesn't possess what a cabin attendant should have and prolonged her training period. Meanwhile, others have get proceeded with their OJT. This has maddened and discouraged Yoko while she thinks she has been performed well. During the retraining period, Yoko is distracted and ponders upon why she has failed. Just then, Shota's company with Yoko has build up miracle relationship between the two and Shota's one word enlightened Yoko leading Mikami promoting her to her next training, OJT.
During OJT, Yoko's guiding trainer is senior Kaoru, who happens to hold grudges against Yoko for her misbehavior. However, the strictness is again for Yoko's good. Some time has passed, while Yoko is on her way to the flight, she meets Chiemi who is in the crew uniform! And she suddenly realized the senior whom she resembles is actually Chiemi…
Soon, OJT period is about to over. At the last day of OJT, Yoko and her crew meet a serious encounter. However, Yoko revival of a critical ill man suffering from heart attack has won her the faith of Mikami and others on the job trainers. Thus, the class has eventually graduated together. While celebrating, the training department chief Dazai revealed to another trainer Asami that actually he has begged the interviewers to pass Yoko as he is wondering what will happen to this batch of attendants… In additional, chief Dazai and Trainer Asami begin to worry about the new candidates for the recruits…
Thus, one day as Yoko is on her to the airport, she meets a punk girl asking for direction
to the training block, just like she was before…
How sad…… If I’ve not remember wrongly, she died in the arms of her love in front of a lake. Romantic right?! (If I’ve anything wrong, sorry yah! Me suffering from youth forgetfulness — much more serious than leukemia. Hahaha… )
But Akari along has never forgotten Arashi. The both then decide to be together but who ever expect that Mari forges mental illness to get Arashi stays behind. However, when Arashi discovered that it’s all a lie, he pretends not to know.
As Mari eventually finds that Arashi only loves Akari, she gives in & …… Almost every one is happy to find their own partner. : )
As Aya begins to go for routine check ups, her doctor in-charged, Dr. Mizuno has been able to let Aya accepts the reality. Aya attends high school as usual. However, as her symptons become more obvious, she encounters setbacks where Yuji (Aya's boyfriend) ditches her upon knowing she's sick and Aya is unable to participate in basketball tournaments any more. She has to depend on her two best friends Mari and Saki for help from now on. On the other side, she seems to know who are her real buddies.
On the other side, the family has became more united. Ako, the younger sister has became more sensible and help up with chores. Everyone seems to be understanding of Aya.
As Aya's movement is in great difficulty and thus resulting her being late for class often. Despite the class showing displeasure about it, the support from Mari, Saki and Asou-kun (the only classmate that really treats her as a classmate without despise), movitates Aya to move on. However, as Aya started her movement in wheelchair, Mari and Saki begin to show signs of dismay. Furthermore, at help out, Mari is injured and is unable to attend a competition. Thus, Tomita of the class representative brings out the issue of Aya quitting the school. Aya overheards, and despite Mari insists that she doesn't mind, the class still is in a fuss. Asou finally stands up and lectures the class for being pretentious in front of Aya. When Asou spots Aya listening to them, the class stunted. Aya still forces a smile, enters and takes her forgotten stuff. Asou is upset and runs after her. Volunteering to carry her down the stairs. Asou seems to have like Aya...
Aya is under a lot of pressure. Thus, the following check up shows no signs of improvement has really worried Dr. Mizuno. Despite him spending much of his time researching on the disease, there isn't any apparent trace that can help slowing down the deterioration. Even Dr. Mizuno is sad for Aya.
On the other hand, Asou-kun has decided to take up medical for colleage. While Aya has made a decision to leave for the disabled school, Asou is the only one calling up and even seeing her. Thus, he confessed his love to Aya. Unfortunately, Aya is unable to accept cause she will bring trouble to Asou-kun. However, Asou sincerity moves Aya and the two dates.
Asou has been accepted by the medical school. Aya, however, after graduated from the disabled school, is unable to work due to her condition. She is unable to speak properly and writing proves to be a great difficulty. Aya is awared herself and requested Dr. Mizuno to let her stay in the hospital where she can have rehabilitation exercise more often. Meanwhile, while Asou-kun brings Aya out to his campus for a walk, makes Aya realizes that she is no longer able to be with Asou-kun. Soon after, she breaks up with him though a letter she wrote to him. Asou is in grieved. He returns to his old self where he keeps everything to himself…
It’s been a year, and Aya no longer can write. She has lost her point to stay alive. However, Dr. Mizuno receives a postcard from a reader of Bridge (where Aya published her articles or diary). Dr. Mizuno brings it to Asou-kun and wishes he will in turn brings hopes to Aya who is currently in despair.
That night, Asou turns up. Asou-kun then reads out the postcard and it brings encouragement for Aya to stay alive. It’s another 5 years that Aya manages to survive. However, her condition is getting worse. She has managed to spend her last Christmas with her family and Asou. Soon after, she passed away…
A year later, it’s Aya’s anniversary. Her parents visit her at her tomb. Soon after Dr. Mizuno comes. Just when they are about to leave, a whole lots of people holding a stalk of flower come visiting Aya. Aya is able to sleep in a bed of flowers that she has wished for…
Akou, her younger sister after graduated from Higashikou is working as a health consultant, Hiro the younger brother as a police officer, and Rika teaches as a private tutor. No mention of Asou-kun, and Dr. Mizuno. But the mother, Shioka and dad, Mizuo, continues to encourage those patients of spinocerebellar degeneration.
Soon, while the three himes gathered together, another group of three transferred students calling themselves as black himes want to challenge with the original himes. Unknown to all, one of the black himes is actually the younger brother of the student council president. There is misunderstanding between the brothers and this resulted a mess of the hime system in the school eventually.
Nonetheless, the himes strike back when the student council president is stepped down due to the overwhelming response of the black himes. And this is a plan of student council president to unite the himes, as well as to clear the misunderstanding between his brother...
Hime system is lastly erased or it is just what you thought so...
Out of the million people on the busy streets of Japan, there is bounce to be one of the Japanese filled with grudge. However, this grudge, not even the police force will be able to resolve for you. Thus, Uramiya Honpo is where you can seek to resolve your grudge.
Uramiya is the lady of justice. She will go on streets to hunt for people who have unsolved hatred and send out Uramiya Honpo's namecard to the needy. But, the criteria is, you will have to pay a high amount of cash for the deal. Though, Uramiya stated that any grudges you wish to resolve, you could look for her, but she does select her deals. If you had lied about your grudge, she will play you out. The one you wish to exile will instead turn out to you. Thus, don’t try to be funny.
Uramiya does her job with several assistants. The most important partner is Jyouhouya (one who does the investigations and detective tasks). Next, is Shun, a gigolo who is unable to pay for his deal and is working for Uramiya. Following, is Rina (a high school student who has been raped by her step-father and thus seek help from Uramiya, as she is unable to afford the amount for the job, she works for Uramiya). Lastly, Shiwasuda, a nut that is quite useful at times to deal with troublemakers and is staying right besides Jyouhouya.
Actually, Uramiya has her grudge as well. At young, she has suffered an ordeal where a pervert who is yet caught axed her dad, mom and brother. Thus, she wishes to help those whose family has died innocent and bring justice to them.
However, a police detective (Satoshi) and his assistant (Noda) obstruct Uramiya’s task. Satoshi is a very sensitive officer. Several a times, he is accurate about seems to be purely suicide deaths. And his investigations are closely following behind Uramiya’s. Despite that, Uramiya still gets ahead of him and punished the criminals. As what Uramiya doing is stated as crimes too, Satoshi plans to raid Uramiya.
Towards the end, Satoshi has the chance to deal with Uramiya. However, Noda’s mom in turn targets him for Satoshi has accidentally killed Noda in an investigation…
Kikumasamune Seishiro (Yokoyuma Yu) is the rich son of a large hospital. He also fights as well as Miroku. He is a good fighter with smarts.
Bido Granmarie (Taguchi Junnosuke) is the son of a Swedish ambassador. He's also a playboy, dating many girls at once. Granmarie can't see himself going steady because he thinks the world can't handle it.
Kenbishi Yuri (Minami) is the rich daughter of a world-renowned president of the Kenbishi Business. She loves to indulge on eating. She's also a good fighter, but can never beat Seishiro.
Hakushika Noriko (Kashii Yu) is the daughter of a famous japanese painter (father) and her mother is from a tradition tea ceremony family. Her only hate is men and can get very violent when they touch her.
Kizakura Karen (Suzuki Emi) lives with her mother, a rich jewel dealer. Her dream is to marry into a rich family using her attractive body and style.
Together, they formed the Yukan Club, solving mysteries to pass time.
