at TOPScorer,
children are divided into two groups of 6 to 9 yrs and 10 to 12yrs old.
Each session will begin with 30 minutes of drills, prepared and supervised
by our very own manager & coach Mr Steven Chua. The remainder of the
session will then be used for games. At the young age, the focus will
be on fun rather than serious competition. "

We give out certificates and prize each month for players who perform
well in the area of discipline, sportsmanship and soccer skill.

When you join us, your child will learn to master the basics of playing
soccer all the way to advance level, participate in soccer tournaments
and attend soccer camps (school holidays) that includes learning about
first aid and sports nutrition.

Professional Summary
Six years of experience in the youth work field with Bethesda Care &
Counselling Services Centre, his expertise and experience lie in befriending
and counselling children and youth, developing preventive programmes,
organizing youth camps and sports camps with value-added learning, conducting
Community Involvement Programmes for schools, conducting motivational
workshops, such as Teambuilding and Leadership skills for prefects, class
leaders and peer leaders, managing a drop-in club, basketball & soccer
clubs, organizing sports tournaments and camps for the after-school care
students at the centre, as well as coaching school soccer teams. Some
of the schools he has worked with are Bedok North Primary, Temasek Primary,
Anglican High Secondary, Bedok South Secondary, and Geylang Methodist
Secondary.
Steven Chua graduated
with a Professional Diploma in Youth Work from Edith Cowan University,
Western Australia in 2002. He specialized in Principles and Practices
in Youth Work, Theories of Youth Work, Helping Skills in Youth Work, Groups
in Youth Work, and Professional Practice and Ethics in Youth Work. Aside
from this, he holds a FAS Coaching Certificate.
