Comment:
- Spreading of the extreme high chlorophyll a
area. The comparison of 1 Mar and 5 Mar
clearly show the high chlorophyll a spot was approaching the coast. One of
the extreme high chlorophyll a patches is located at the south of the
offshore island. Some of these extreme high chlorophyll
a region was indicate as error which represented in black color.
- Strong absorption of nLw 551 area in the
extreme high chlorophyll a area, water decolorization
could be occurred.
- RGB true color image shows clear darkish area in the extreme high
chlorophyll a region. The darkish area can be clearly differentiate
from the blue deep ocean.
- The lower SST at northern tip of Borneo indicates
the upwelling is continuing supply the nutrient for phytoplankton bloom.
