As quoted by Dr Lai Kui-Fang "Nude art is the highest form of art...nude art is a natural representation of the human body and its natural contours. To artists, a rounded stomach is not a flaw, but a characteristic of the human form in an unaltered state....Nude art differs greatly from pornography. In pornographic art, the picture or image arouses feelings of eroticism."
I decided to become a freelance nude model due to my profound, undying love for the arts. When I read that nude art is the highest form of art I decided to be a creature of artistic creativity. As a model I feel my body being appreciated, the curves and anatomy been studied in detail for exact reproduction on canvas.
...stripped of my last piece of clothing I stepped out of the room clad with a cloak. Upon posing the desired position on the modeling pedestal and receiving the gesture of the artist I slipped off the heavy cloak with masterly air thus exposing my full nudity to the artists. As I pose motionless the cold air from the air-condition swept on my naked flesh, I felt vulnerable of being stark naked, insecure but at the same time the wonderful ego emerged as 20 pairs of eyes pore over my body sculpture. The feeling of being an art object to be analyse and studied I felt the sense of significance, of being appreciated...
My body is not to be replica, but to be realised...
