15 April 99 saw the end of ten glorious years at the beloved 'Cathedral Green' training ground. Thus began a new chapter of the...
SaintsFC started out in the mid 1980's as an after fellowship kick-about at the cathedral grounds every Saturday. But gradually, a football team was formed and it has remained till this day.
On 27 June 1999, the Saints resumed training at Bishan Park, a bigger playing area than the Cathedral Green. The core of the team has remained, training regularly on Saturdays.
Towards the start of 2001 the team adopted a new strategy, moving away from Saturday kickabouts at Bishan Park to playing friendlies every weekend to sustain players' interest.
Adding to this new approach, the team also organises social functions to promote better ties between not only the players but also the players' families and close ones.
