Red hot striker Cris showed all the female spectators he was the superior male when he hit his 5th goal in 3 games for the Saints. But still, the Saints were outplayed by a more experienced veteran team that moved the ball around.
The Saints went ahead when the Rod and Cris combo produced yet another goal to put SFC in front. But the Saints were fast tiring and certainly feeling the effects of Zoukout and in the second half let in 2 quick goals by the veterans.
Halfway through the second half, SFC was awarded a free kick after fine acting by the spoiler! and up stepped Eugene, back from knee injury to blast the ball into net!
The Saints kept up the pressure and Cris had a legitimate goal ruled offside. But in the end, their legs gave way to allow the Veterans to pull away with two more goals.
