Asami is a schoolmate of Sana's and is in her second year. Sana met her when he got ditched by Nanaka when they were supposed to go to the student council meeting together. Instead, Asami agreed to take him there and led him into the correct classroom. Asami has a very gentle personality, and even volunteers at an old folk's home; she often asks Sana to come too, who is happy to oblige. It was revealed that she confessed her love to Syuri, but was rejected by her. Syuri tried to continue to be her friend but that hurt Asami even more who think that she is merely ignoring Asami's feelings for her. It is due to that Asami started hated her especially after she found out that Syuri has no place for her in her heart but her brother only. To hurt her back, she decide to accuse the twins of incest, sending a letter to the principal and telling them that they have visited the love hotel together. Furthermore, she even draw a love umbrella to hurt Syuri even more. However, when she and Sana accompanied Syuri to visit Kaji and the old lady turn out trying to make Syuri a sacrifice for the return of her granddaughter, Asami risked her own life to save Syuri and end up causing Asami to stay in the hospital with bandages around her forehead. She told everything to Sana when he visited one day and Sana has attempted to persuade her not to think of herself as someone eviler than he thought she is but end up discontinuing this due to the arrival of Syuri and Syusuke.

She receive the same mirror that Sana bought for Nanaka when he ask of her to help him buy one for Nanaka and is invited to go on the fishing and bathhouse trip with him and his friends. She is good at cooking like Aoi apparently, and made a fruit cake beforehand for them as dessert. She and Sana were once mistaken to have initimate acts with each other when Nanaka saw them near her home hugging each other. They were there exactly to bury something for Kaji which can be suspected to be bodies of both the cat and bird Kaji killed as sacrifices. She has a cousin named Youta which she brought to the theme park one day and meet Sana and his friends there.  

Years later, Asami came to the Sakuranomori Nature Park and meet Aoi who said that it is her effort that the Sakuranomori Nature Park is still right here today. Both of them went to Nanaka's musical performance as well.
