Born: September 21, 1950, in Wilmette, Illinois BILL MURRAY started out with the SECOND CITY improv group in Chicago (as did his brother, BRIAN DOYLE-MURRAY). He then teamed up with GILDA RADNER, JOHN BELUSHI, and DAN AYKROYD to make THE NATIONAL LAMPOON RADIO SHOW. From 1977-1980, he was a member of the cast of SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE back when it was actually funny. Among his many entertaining movies are GROUNDHOG DAY, ED WOOD, WHAT ABOUT BOB?, CADDYSHACK, and, of course, GHOSTBUSTERS and GHOSTBUSTERS 2. A very funny guy. |

| "When I first started improvising at Second City, I was so bad I walked off and didn't come back for, like, two years. Then I just lived a little and came back with a lot more person to operate with." | |||||||||||||||||||||

| "My father was a very difficult laugh. Adults found him very funny. But his children had a tough time cracking him up. One of my strongest childhood impressions is falling off my dinner table while doing a Jimmy Cagney impression. I hit my head very hard on the metal foot of the table leg, and it hurt terribly. But when I saw my father laughing, I laughed while crying at the same time. I guess that was some kind of beginning." | |||||||||||||||||||||
