LEAVE IT TO BEAVER aired from 1957 to 1963 and centered around the CLEAVER family with THEODORE "BEAVER" (JERRY MATHERS) as the focus along with his brother, WALLY (TONY DOW) under the parental guidance of WARD (HUGH BEAUMONT) and JUNE (BARBARA BILLINGSLEY). The show was basically a 'day in the life' depiction of growing up in Middle America in the late '50s and early '60s, a more innocent and less hectic period than now. Life was a whole lot simpler back then. | ![]() |
