YES has undergone several personnel changes over the years, but my favorite period of Yes music is the "FRAGILE" and "CLOSE TO THE EDGE" (below), early '70s stuff with the lineup shown (left) in 1972: JON ANDERSON, RICK WAKEMAN, STEVE HOWE, BILL BRUFORD, and CHRIS SQUIRE. They are also one of those rare bands that have lasted for a long time without becoming stale and repetitive. | |||||||||||||||||||||
