Scott was raised in Cranford, NJ, and graduated from Cranford High in 1986. He earned a B.A. in environmental studies from Southampton College, and met many wonderful people there! He moved to Washington in 1992, where he earned a MS in Geology at Western Washington University. Currently, we reside in Flagstaff, AZ. Scott works for the US Geological Survey at the Flagstaff Field Station. He is a geologist with the USGS, serving as the GIS system administrator for the Western Earth Surface Processes Team.

Evi was raised in Los Angeles, CA and graduated from the Van Nuys High School Performing Arts Magnet in 1985. Not satisfied with the usual college career, she went to 3 totally different kinds of universities, finally finishing her B.F.A. in technical direction and stage management at the California Institute of the Arts in Santa Clarita, CA., in 1991. After graduation she moved to the SF Bay Area, working as a stage manager for anyone who would hire her.  She joined Actors Equity Association in 1997. After hearing the band in 1998, Evi started managing some large events for the String Cheese Incident through the creative firm, Peak Experience Productions.
