The Gamma Nu Chapter of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc. was chartered on February 7, 1964 at the campus of Norfolk State College. Our chapter was founded by Soror Margaret Ann Griffin, Soror Ellen O. Henderson, Soror Vernetta Lee Smith, Soror Joyce Ann Steele, Soror Joan Elaine Williams and Soror Grace Johnson. We at Gamma Nu are dynamic young women who represent the true meaning of sisterhood. Gamma Nu is about progressive change and setting new trends. Our mission is to take Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc. to the next level by:
