This is a place dedicated to Dean Koontz.  Here you will find an extensive listing of his works.  As a child, DK lived in poverty, then spent fifteen years paying his dues as an obscure author.  Through it all, he never gave up, just the opposite, he stayed the course and produced the wonderful novels we have enjoyed so much.  At last count, he had over 290 million books in print.  Not bad - considering many of his early works were published in 3 to 7 thousand print runs.

Did you know that he has been pumping out books since 1968?  Or that he has an extensive inventory of  published short stories?  That he has written children's books and started out as a science fiction author.  That up until 1987, he wrote books under numerous pen names?  To learn about the man and his works, The Dean Koontz Companion, or DK biography are must reads.

If you come across any errors on dates or details of the many items listed on this site, please email me with the correct information(simply click the basset hound picture below).  While I have taken the greatest care to have the correct information before adding an item, to error is human(and boy am I human).  Also, if you have any info or scans that I don't have, please let me know!  If you are a long time Koontzite, or new to collecting DK, you are all welcome here.

In between Koontz books
Try
Swan Song or Boy's Life
(or basically any book)
by
Robert McCammon
and
Summer of Night or Carrion Comfort

Dan Simmons

You'll see why both authors are so
highly regarded by DK himself

"I'd give a hundred of the latest 'big sensations' for one Robert McCammon."

"Dan Simmons is brilliant"
