The Shadow of Olympus is an original fantasy game that uses Tiny Mux as its format.
It couldn't be a dream. I couldn't have imagined it. A form before me, wavering slightly, begging me onwards. Urging me to complete my destiny. But, what destiny was that? A mere child, born under the shadow of Olympus, raised to be a priestess of Athena - How was I to know that in my seventeenth year, a messenger of Hera herself would appear before me and grant me my future - to become the Oracle of Eleusia. This, I could not refuse. But the words that I find myself speaking and the death and despair I see myself creating... It is all too much.
Yes, there is anger in my heart. But, there is also fear. The Gods claim mortals as their own, as they claim powers beyond belief and foresight to the future. They know what will happen and when and they've been whispering such horrible futures to me. The Amazons, children of Artemis, and The Hand of Ares, elite secret mercenaries, have been plotting their take-over of Eleusia. There is talk that the Prince of Eleusia is not the Prince at all - in fact an imposter. There is notice that the Satyrs and Centaurs will one day revolt. And there are dark forces from the Underworld striving to reach into ours. Eleusia, with its factions and creatures in chaos, is on shaky ground. Indeed, the Paradise the Gods sought to create has begun collapsing in on itself.
Enter the world of the Shadow of Olympus, where a Paradise on earth created by the Gods has factioned off into both mystical and magical categories. Our game is a consent-based roleplaying game set in an original fantasy world. With original code, news files, and theme, we offer a unique perspective on Greek Myth and legend.
