Yay for Capsule Monsters. Though it is sucky filler made by 4Kids, there is nevertheless enough Loyaltyshipping to make me a very, very happy author.

Title: Capsule Monsters

Chapter 1

            No.

            No.

Pharaoh could not possibly… with only Kuriboh to protect him, against Reshef the Dark Being… he had to do something, even though Pharaoh had told him to protect the others, he could do that all at the same time if he just…!
            The lasers fired.

Mahaado closed his eyes, and felt his soul split yet again. The pain was excruciating, but he had endured it before and he could endure it again if he had to-!

An explosion blinded all for a few moments, and when it cleared, there was no sign of Alexander’s evil side – or his monster. The air shimmered for a few more seconds before vanishing, as Yami realized exactly what had saved them.

            Mirror Force…

He heard a cry, and spun around just in time to see his Magician of Black Chaos collapse in front of his grandfather, body fading away rapidly. But none of the other monsters were damaged, so…?

He rushed over to the monster’s side, watching as armor began to fade away, though not quite dissolving into sparkles yet. Clear blue – wait, why were they blue? Eyes stared into his trustingly.

“Pharaoh…. I am so glad… that I was able to serve you… one last time…”

“No!” Yami said. It couldn’t be! The Magician couldn’t disappear on him like that? Wasn’t the game over? Wasn’t…

No. They were still there. Alexander was gone, but they were still stuck… with a cry, Yami clutched the Magician to his chest, as the beginnings of a spell he had forgotten bubbled to the forefront of his mind.

Celtic Guardian, Black Luster Soldier, and the other of Yami’s monsters gathered around him, and Yami stared at them with half-crazed eyes.

“Give me your sword.” He commanded.

The elf obligingly handed it over, and Yami swiftly slit both his own palms and the Magician’s, wincing as he did so.

“Yami? What are you doing?” Anzu asked, coloring as Yami began yanking at the Magician of Black Chaos’s pants, cursing fluently under his breath, as the leather seemed to resist his efforts.

“Don’t watch.” Yami hissed. “I have to do this alone.”

Jounichi and Honda blanched upon hearing this, and quickly edged away. Anzu closed her eyes, and his grandfather sighed, shaking his head.

Surely, Yami had a right to be upset, but it was only a monster…

… Last sex before – well, after battle, maybe?

Nonsense. But he did not have the heart to stop them…

“Blood to blood,” Yami hissed, his eyes blazing crimson as he finally managed to get his clothing off, pressing his palms to the Magician’s. “Heart to Heart, and Soul to Soul. Be bound to me, for eternity, and I shall be bound to you. My life as your life, my soul as your soul, my love as your love!”

The Magician did not respond, but at least he was still breathing. Yami groaned as he freed himself, and then spread the mage’s legs, before entering him. Blue eyes shot open in surprise as Yami pressed his lips hungrily against him, and then they were moving, one against the other, before finally, light exploded behind their eyes and Yami collapsed atop his monster’s chest, sighing.

At least the fading seemed to have stopped, and as he watched, color began to return to his monster’s face. But his clothing and armor were shifting, and his eyes remained clear, open blue, though dark hair bleached to long, almost white-blonde, and armor shifted into plain linen robes and golden jewelry.

            “My Pharaoh…”

“I… I remember you,” Yami replied hesitantly. “You are… familiar to me. But I cannot remember your name.”

“My name is unimportant to one such as you, my Pharaoh.” The Magician dipped his head and dropped into a low bow.

Yami frowned. “No. You do not need to bow to me. Stand.”

The Dark Magician instantly obeyed, and Celtic Guardian and Black Luster Soldier edged away, seeing that their duty was done, they returned to their capsules, followed swiftly by Kuriboh and Hinotama Soul. The poor Kuriboh was blushing furiously, as he wished he hadn’t seen or heard that!

            “Woah…”

Yami turned, then looked down, blinking as he realized that he was not wearing the Duel Armor, or his dark blue school uniform. Instead, his clothing had once again been replaced with white and blue linen, the winged crown that boasted the symbol of the Sennen Eye. Jewelry winked off his arms and legs as his cape swept behind him. The Puzzle glittered brightly on his chest.

            “That’s a new wardrobe change I haven’t seen before.”

“… Seems to be all right now,” Sugoroku said, staring at the monster. It inclined its head in a slight bow, though now its arms were empty and it’s features differently colored. Then it stepped behind Yami, almost protectively.

“So… what do we do now?” Anzu asked, glancing around. The field was still quite empty, even though Alexander’s followers were lying not far away, shell-shocked but still alive.

“I hope we have passed the test.” Yami said.

The air around them shimmered brightly, and then they were back in outer space. Shadi was waiting for them.

Shadi glared as he saw who had come back with them. “This is all your fault, Mahaado!”

“Whatever are you accusing me of now, Shadah?”

“You know very well what I am accusing you of! You – you bound yourself to him!”

“As I recall,” Mahaado replied coolly, “It was Alexander’s spirit who told him to bond with me. And he’s been the one doing all the bonding.”

Anzu turned pale as Yami sighed.

“Not to get off topic or anything,” Jounichi said calmly, “But we have won, have we not?”

“Yes, yes.” The guardian said impatiently. “Very well, my Pharaoh. The power to rule the world rightfully belongs to you.”

“I don’t want it.” Yami said in response.

“Yes, and that is the paradox of it all. The one who truly worthy to wield the power to rule the world does not need that same power to rule.”

Yami did not say more, and a moment later, they were all lying on the floor of the pyramid in India, waking up…

Well, even bad dub-made anime can be inspirational sometimes… especially since Dark Magician gets to fly around with Yami in his arms… and merge with him Wink! And so it was proven that Dark Magician and Magician of Dark Chaos are the same person… Mmhmm… dark evolution evolved him, didn’t it?

Argh! I can’t channel the Japanese anime anymore! 4Kids dub has corrupted my brain *Cries*

… Yes. I mean, Yami says “Join with me to become one…” I’m reading too much into this, aren’t I?
