In the days when scientists were far too interested in trying to find a way to measure intelligence, word came to them of a poor young woman who'd just given birth to twin girls - and identical ones at that. They swooped down on the new mother and offered her an insane amount of money in exchange for her children. Being that she was very young and ignorant, she accepted, sending her daughters to an unknown fate and lifting herself to an acceptable level - she wed the man who'd sired the twins, and they lived happily together.

The twins were split up and adopted out to two families who were drastically different. Nytblayze, who was moments older, was given to a couple in much poorer conditions than she was born into. Nytstarr was given to a couple who were exceedingly wealthy. As they grew, both girls showed high potential, and were tested periodically by the scientists. They were incredibly energetic - Nytstarr's energy was diverted to hobbies and groups befitting a well-to-do young woman. Nytblayze's energy just became trouble. To the delight of the scientists, the girls grew up exactly the same - even though they'd never met and neither knew they had a twin. Both showed a love for deep colors and leather. This was disturbing for Nytstarr's "parents" but it was a common occurrence to "parents" like Nytblayze's.

Shortly after the 20th birthday of the twins, they vanished. The scientists were deeply disturbed when they could not find the girls - and thus could not finish their experiment.

In the mean time, the young woman who'd borne the twins began to regret her choice. She missed her daughters, and longed to set things right. Four years after that fated day, she gave birth to a third girl, Nythuntyr. She was as delicate a beauty as the other two, with fair skin and dark hair. Nythuntyr knew from an early age that she had older sisters, and was destined to seek them out - to bring the family back together. She left home shortly after she turned fourteen, to seek them out.

Nytblayze stared longingly at a diamond pendant in a jeweler's window, and turned away in time to be crashed into by a woman in a long black leather trenchcoat. "Watch where you're going!" Nytblayze snapped.

"Watch yourself, gutterslime!" Nytstarr snapped back. Ice blue eyes met ice blue eyes, and an eerie silence fell over them as each looked at their double.

Nytblayze flinched first. "You think you're hot stuff, huh? I bet your fancypants self can't even begin to imagine the trials I've been through."

Nytstarr glared. "Lived like a monkey in a lab cage in an upper class family to be prodded and poked and tested by scientists all your life?" She said with a sarcastic smile.

Nytblayze was taken aback. "All but the upper class family." She said with a neutral tone. "Slums for me."

Nytstarr stared. This was too unreal. Thusly, the twins met, and they began to run together. What they couldn't buy with Nytstarr's wealth, they stole by way of Nytblayze's talent.

Two years later, Nythuntyr came into town tired and dirty. She'd heard rumors in the countryside of twin devils running amok in the cities. She entered the first tavern, and walked up to the counter. The keep glared. "Listen sister, I don't have blue Kerait, just deal." He said.

Nythuntyr just looked at the man. "Just give me a hot meal and a tankard of good ale." She growled.

The keep scoffed. "You want that put on your tab?"

"Whatever." Nythuntyr said, and went to take a seat. After a while, a barmaid brought her meal, which wasn't exactly gourmet, but it was edible.

Soon, a dark-haired young woman slipped into a seat at her table. "I thought we were eating out tonight." She whispered.

Nythuntyr scoffed. "I had no such plans." She said around a mouthful of stew.

"Nytblayze!" the girl admonished, "How can you forget so easily?"

"Because she's not me." Nytblayze snarled, coming up to the table. "What are you doing down here, Nytstarr, and just who are you?"

"I was looking for you, duh. I'm hungry." The girl who must be Nytstarr answered.

"I'm Nythuntyr." Nythuntyr replied. "Dumb question - you two twins?"

Nytblayze glared. Nytstarr answered. "We think so, yes. We can't be sure because we were adopted…"

Nythuntyr grinned. "I swear, you two are my sisters…"

Nytblaze beckoned a server over. "Two more dinners and a bottle of red. And hurry it." She snarled.

"We all look alike." Nytstarr said, as her twin took a seat - turning the chair backwards first, of course.

"But how can we prove it?" Nytblayze said. "Perhaps it's just an uncanny resemblance?"

"I've an idea." A young man said, walking up to their table. "How about you all come with me to Cathair Utopian, and if you all imprint, then you must be related."

Nytblayze and Nytstarr started laughing. "That is the corniest pickup line I've ever heard!"

Nythuntyr nodded. "It's worth a shot, girls. If none of us imprint, then that'll suffice as well…"

Nytblayze stopped laughing and looked to the barkeep. "THREE SHOTS!" she hollered.

Nytstarr looked at Nythuntyr, who's face was agast. "You said it, you drink it."

When the barmaid brought the drinks, the sisters each took one, clinked the tiny glasses together, and swallowed the noxious liquid in one gulp.

"Let's go." Nytblayze said standing. "I hope your dragon's big enough to carry all of us, boykin, because we won't be split apart."

"No problem." The Searcher said. "We'll be waiting for you in the courtyard - blue dragon. Can't miss him."

Sure enough, all three girls imprinted - of course they were sisters, what else would they be. Nytblayze imprinted a beautiful Red-Orange-Black colored dragoness whose hide looks like fire, named Radianth. Nytstarr imprinted an Orange-White beauty called Amoureth, and Nythuntyr impinted a stunning Black-and-white Male caled Rufulth. Surely, he should be called Silver-Black, but he's not quite silver.

"So... what should we do now?" Nytblayze asked her sisters as she cleaned beneath her nails with the point of her dagger, sitting against Radianth's firey hide.

"We've got dragons - all we need is men!" Nytstarr laughed, leaning against Amoureth possessively.

"Someone to warm the bed would be nice." Nythuntyr mused, perched astride her black and white male bond. "But perhaps we should think more Danachian. What are we going do do as Dragonriders...?"

The twins stared. "We form a wing, of course. Blayze and I will lead." Starr said. "You can ride rear."

Nythuntyr scoffed. "Forget that! You two be equals and lead the wing. Rufulth and I are going to be Finders."

Blayze laughed. "Figures, you are Nythuntyr..."
