Gulf Coast Research Laboratory Pictures

These pictures were take in Ocean Springs, Mississippi while taking marine biology courses.

This may look like a floating log but it is actually a resting Sperm Whale.  We saw a lot while exploring the Gulf of Mexico.

This was taken just a short walk from the dorm.  In the back you can see the bridge that leads to Biloxi, Mississippi.

This was one night we slept on the boat several miles from shore.  This boat was the only one we saw that night.

This is a dolphins heart that was brought out during a disection.

This was a large group of spinner dolphins that came to great our boat.
