Teaching Philosophy

Every student learns differently and if you can reach you students on their level, then they are able to learn mathematics is fun. My teaching style will be to explain the material in many differny ways. I will show multiple examples for students who are wisual learners and I will explain various ways for the concepual learners. I feel that to learn math is to do math, by practicing the math problems, the concepts will become second nature to the students. Practice makes perfect. Repetition will help reinfore math concepts. Everyone learns better and is more interested in subjects that they relate to. By relating exercises to everyday experiences and different subjects, students will understand how math relates to our lives.        To make a classroom enviornmnet conductive to learning, I will strive to make the atmosphere friendly. Classroom rules will be enforced to have structure and a good foundation for learning. Group learning will be encouraged since it helps studnets learn from each other. Having a comfortable and friendly environment encourages students to learn and ask questions.
