Everyone knows that Shane McTease invented and named the game. No one actually knows the reason, but many have speculated and there are several popular theories:
1) It is the name of Shane McTeases illegitamate son.
2) There was already a Marco-polo and a polo, so it seemed the obvious choice.
3) It is an acronym.
4)Some people believe it is a mis-spelling of the Mauri ball game Martoo. However Martoo is played naked by dogs and cats with a flaming ball, so many believe that the name similarity is merely coincidental.

Marco is invented by a 77 year old man (24th September 1928) named Shane McTease who lives in a hut on a hill in Oxford with his wife Shelly McTease. He is undefeated in the Marco Arena. He IS NOT a God he is just a man who is very very good at MARCO. Shane McTease is not only the inventor of Marco but also the world champion at the sport. He has only ever lost 1 life in a Marco arena.
He lost this life in a six hour point which was playe in an arena in the heat of the Sahara desert. The player who McTeased him collapsed and died afterwards.

If you do not have Marco on at least the mind and body do not play Shane McTease as it is likely that his shots will mesmirise you so much that you will end up being sent home in a jar.
He is rumoured to be the first and only ever player to return an Anoo with another Anoo, which was before thought of as not only cheating but also impossible.
It has been said that Shane Mctease is able to use the power of his mind to control the ball. However, this would be generally considered impolite and cheating, so we believe that it is just the speed at which his hands move that gives the impression that he does not touch the ball.
It is unwise to stare directly at Shanes hand whilst he is playing Marco as this can cause blindness.
To have Marco on the soul you first must understand the polite nature of the game. After you truly understand this you can begin to develop a Marco soul. DO NOT set out to try to get Marco on the soul, in understanding it will come naturally.
Once you have Marco on the soul 100% you will be able to obtain full use of your mind and body.
