Organizing
details is a special skill and challenge for this person.
His patience and ability to concentrate help him to
notice little
things that other people miss. The Feeling Type is
skilled in manual dexterity
and enjoys putting things together with his hands. He has
a lot of energy
and is out-going and friendly, which makes him a good
mixer. This person
is excellent in following instructions and is
conscientious about his work.
When he understands the overall picture, he can fill in
all the details with
ease. When in balance, the Feeling Type is able to
channel his empathy for
others into practical use, for he readily shares of his
kindness and affection.
He often embraces others or touches them to express his
genuine feelings
of tenderness. He is extremely sensitive to his
environment and to other
individuals. This person has the ability to "feel
with" a situation and become
a part of it. He has an inner knowingness on how to deal
with almost any
circumstance. Once he has a feeling for a project, he is
persevering in his
purpose and will dedicate himself to achieve great
accomplishments.The gift
of Feeling is often referred to as the gift of Healing,
for a person with
this gift has a concern for the healing of other
individuals. He is also
gifted in what is known as psychometry and through the
sense of touch he
can detect properties of an object and feelings
associated with it. When
out of balance, this type is defensive about his feelings
and it is difficult
for him to take suggestions or criticism. He continually
needs reassurance
from those around him; otherwise he becomes discouraged.
The Feeler frequently
disorganizes situations through the use of manipulative
devices. He may argue
over an unimportant point to gain attention, or he may
dissect everything
through analysis. This person is quick to cause friction
in a group. He will
use any means to confuse others so he can gain the upper
hand. This person
has difficulty in disciplining his feelings. He is highly
emotional and relies
on sensation rather than intellect or feeling. He becomes
easily upset and
tends to over-dramatize a situation in order to gain
sympathy or get his
way. He is easily influenced by others and often swayed
in his convictions.
This type becomes involved in other people's problems and
is overly sympathetic,
with a tendency to take on the feelings and anxieties of
others. The
out-of-balance Feeler is dependent on others, a leaner.
He appears to be
much more helpless and uninformed than he actually is,
however, because through
this mechanism he gains sympathy and attention. This
person often pretends
to be completely dedicated to a cause or to other people,
but this can be
a disguise. His real motive is that he wants people to be
devoted to him.
Feelers love to suffer when they are out of balance.
Since this type thinks
in feelings or sensations, he may pick up other people's
aches and pains
and actually think they are his own. When this type
learns to balance the
intellect and the feeling, he is able to discard unwise
habits and attitudes.
Once he understands himself, he can become a powerhouse.
He will be ;like
a charged-up battery, full of energy all the time. This
is the type of person
who picks up a thought and translates it into feeling. He
responds to life
depending upon how it feels to him.
