SHANNON'SWORDS TO LIVE BY

CYCLES OF LIFE

Our lives move in rhythms or cycles. It takes seven years
to master a cycle or a state of consciousness. It is similar to a farmer
planting his crop. If he nurtures it, he will have an abundant crop in due
season. If he neglects his crop he will have many weeds and a skimpy harvest.
Science tells us that about every seven years we have a complete renewal
of the physical body, and that most cells in the body are replaced every
three to twelve months.0-7-14-21-28-35-42-49-56-63-70-77 The most important
cycle is the one from zero to seven years, This is where your basic personality
is molded. If you have a blockage area, this is where it was born. In the
cycle from 21 to 28, a person moves into maturity. If a child is badly hurt
emotionally during his first seven year cycle, the results will be most vividly
reflected in the 21-28 cycle, and he may either commit suicide, and in a
mental institution or in a jail as a result. If a child is not badly hurt
in the first seven years, he will find maturity between the ages of 21 and
28. Some of us find it before and some of us never find it. We can associate
the cycle 28-35 with "seeking for the kingdom of heaven," Actually it is
seeking for yourself, to find yourself and prepare for full development.
From 35- to 42 is the cycle in which "everything will be added unto you,"
The law of abundance begins to flow about this time and should continue from
then on. In the cycle 49 to 56 you move into the inventory of life. When
you come close to this cycle you feel an inner urge. You may say to yourself,
"What have I done with my life?" You start groping, questioning, and wondering,
"Am I in the right place?" You take stock of what you are and you begin searching
to find more about who you are. It is during this cycle that most people
question whether they have done enough with their lives. We then move into
the cycle 56 to 63. If a person has not really found himself by then, he
will fade out, snap the silver cord, and pass on. If he has found himself
he will begin doing his greatest work.
