She-an-me, a firm which has for many years supplied pop stars, punks and the Hot Gossips dancers as well as the usual buyers of "glamour wear".  The fact that She-an-me's garments had previously had a lot of media exposure meant that they were too passé for most of the Skin 2 club trendsetters, which left rubber as the one fetishistic material which still maintained its shock value                                                                                            The Fashion Year  -  1983
