This tutorial is written for PSP7 and assumes you have a good
working knowledge of the PSP tools.

Any resemblence to any other tutorial is purely coincidental.


Supplies Needed

Paint Shop Pro
Filters Unlimited - Buy It Here
Eye Candy 4000 - Buy It Here
The Font I Used - Splendors Alt - Here
The Supplies - Here
This includes the tube I used and my mask.
I have no knowledge as to the origin of the tube.
If it's yours please let me know so I can give you credit for it.




1. Open the tube and my mask in PSP. Minimise the mask for now.
Shift & D to duplicate the tube and close the original for future use.
Image > Canvas Size 400 width x 400 height,
Centre Image Horizontally and Vertically both checked.
Image > Resize by 70%, All Layers - Unchecked.
Image > Mirror.

2. Layers > New Raster Layer.
Layers > Arrange > Send To Bottom.
Set your forgeround to solid colour #BB9261.
Set your background to solid colour #FFEAC1.
Set your forgeround to gradient as follows.
Style = Linear. Angle = 0. Repeats = 9.
Floodfill this new layer with this gradient.

3. Masks > New > From Image as follows.

4. Masks > Delete.
Click on Yes to the pop-up window.

5. Effects > PlugIn Filters > Filters Unlimited 2.
Special Effects 1 > Aged Film.
Use the following settings:

6. Colours > Adjust > Brightness / Contrast.
Brightness = 20. Contrast = 0.

7. Effects > PlugIn Filters > Eye Candy 4000 Glass.
Using these settings :

8. Effects > PlugIn Filters > Filters Unlimited 2.
Use the same settings as before.

9. In your layer palette, click on your tube layer to make it active.
Using your mover tool, position your tube like this :

10. Set your foreground to solid colour #8F6C49.
Set your background to solid colour #BB9261.
Click on your Text Tool and add your text using the following :

11. Pull on the nodes to lengthen your text and to position it.
When you're happy with the look and placement...
Layers > Convert To Raster Layer.

12. Effects > 3D Effects > Inner Bevel as follows :

13. Effects > 3D Effects > Drop Shadow as follows :

14. In your layer palette, click on your tube layer to make it active.
Effects > 3D Effects > Drop Shadow using the same settings.

15. In your layer palette, click on your blocks layer to make it active.
Effects > 3D Effects > Drop Shadow.
Use the same settings but change the blur to 5.

16. Layers > Merge > Merge Visible.
Click on your crop tool.
In your Tool Options Palette, click on Crop Settings.
Select Opaque Area - Current Layer = Checked.
Click on OK. Then click on Crop Image.

17. Layers > Merge > Merge All (Flatten).
Save as a JPG and you're done!
