Supplies Needed

DC Rain 4 Filter - Available Here

if it belongs to you please let me know so that I can give you full credit for it.

1. Open your tube in PSP. Shift & D to duplicate it and close the original.
Image > Canvas Size 400 width x 400 height, centre horizontally and vertically checked.
Image > Mirror. Re-name this Tube 1.

2. Layers > Duplicate and re-name this Tube 2.
Layers > Duplicate and re-name this Tube 3.
Turn off the visibility on layers Tube 2 and Tube 3.
Click on Tube 1 layer to make it active.

3. Effects > PlugIn Filters > DC Rain using the following settings:
Make sure your background colour is set to white before you do this step.

4. Click on Tube 2 layer to make it active.
Effects > PlugIn Filters > Filter Factory Gallery E > Metal Peacocks > default settings.

5. Click on Tube 3 layer to make it active.
Image > Re-size by 80% Bicubic Re-Sample, all layers unchecked.
Using your mover tool, position this tube where you'd like it to be.

6. Effects > 3D Effects > Inner Bevel using the folowing settings.

7. Layers > New Raster Layer.
Layers > Arrange > Send To Bottom.
Floodfill this layer with white.

8. Click on Tube 1 layer to make it active.
Effects > 3D Effects > Drop Shadow using these settings.

9. Click on Tube 2 layer to make it active.
Effects > 3D Effects > Drop Shadow.
Change the opacity to 80, the blur to 15 and the colour to black.

10. Click on Tube 3 layer to make it active.
Effects > 3D Effects > Drop Shadow. Change the opacity to 100 and the blur to 8.

11. Turn off the visibility on your white background layer.
Layers > Merge > Merge Visible.
Turn the visibility on your white background layer back on.
Using your mover tool, position the merged tube layers to the left of your canvas.
Be very careful not to lose any of your dropshadows.

12. Layers > New Raster Layer.

13. There are many different ways of creating the vertical text but this is probably the easiest.
Pick 2 colours for your foreground and background colours.
I chose #808080 for my foreground and a metallic silver gradient for my background.
Using the following settings add the first letter of your name to this new layer.
Repeat the process for each letter of your name adding each letter to it's own layer.
I used capitals for each letter.

14. Using your mover tool, position each letter until you're happy with it.
Turn off the visibility on your white background layer and merged tube layers
Layers > Merge > Merge Visible.
Effects > 3D Effects > Inner Bevel using the same settings as before.
Effects > 3D Effects > Drop Shadow using the same settings as last used.

15. Layers > Merge > Merge All Flatten.
Save as a JPG and you're finished...YAY!...lol.

I hope you enjoyed this tutorial and you're happy with your new sig.
