This tutorial is written for PSP7 and assumes you have a good
working knowledge of the PSP tools.
Any resemblence to any other tutorial is purely coincidental.
Supplies Needed
Paint Shop Pro
The Font I Used - Here - Gessele.
My Supplies - Here - This includes the tube and my mask.
This wonderful tube is by Audieanne at Montage Menagerie.

1. Open the tube and mask in PSP. Minimise the mask for now.
Shift & D to duplicate the tube and close the original for future use.
In your layer palette, click on the watermark layer to make it active.
Layers > Delete.
Image > Resize by 50% Bicubic Resample, All layers - Unchecked.
Image > Rotate > Left > Free = 15.
Effects > Sharpen > Sharpen.
Minimise this for now.
2. File > New using these settings :
3. Set your foreground to a dark colour from your image
you minimised earlier. I chose #684865.
Set your background to a lighter colour. I chose #A476B2.
Set your foreground to gradient and set it as follows :
4. Floodfill your new image with this gradient.
5. Masks > New > From Image using these settings :
6. Masks > Delete.
Click on yes to the pop-up window.
Effects > Sharpen > Sharpen More.
Effects > 3D Effects > Inner Bevel using these settings :
7. Image > Canvas Size using these settings :
8. Bring up your tube that you minimised earlier.
Edit > Copy.
You can now close that tube as we've finished with it.
Click back on your new image to make it active.
Edit > Paste > As New Layer.
Using your mover tool, position the tube to where you're
happy with it, you can see my finished sig as a guide.
9. Set your foreground back to solid colour, keep
both foreground and background colours as they are.
Using your text tool add your name using these settings :
10. While your text is still selected go to
Selections > Promote To Layer.
11. Image > Rotate > Left > Free = 45.
Effects > Sharpen > Sharpen.
12. Effects > 3D Effects > Inner Bevel.
Use the same settings as before but change

the depth to 2.
Using your mover tool, positiong your text to the left.
Layers > Merge > Merge Visible.
13. Effects > 3D Effects > Drop Shadow using these settings :
14. Click on your Crop Tool.
In your Tool Options Palette, click on Crop Settings.
Select Opaque Area - Current Layer checked.
Click on Ok and then Crop Image.
15. Layers > New Raster Layer.
Layers > Arrange > Send To Bottom.
Floodfill this new layer with white.
Layers > Merge > Merge All (Flatten).
Save as a JPG and you're done!
