This tutorial is written for PSP7 and assumes you have a good
working knowledge of the PSP tools.
Any resemblence to any other tutorial is purely coincidental.
Supplies Needed
Paint Shop Pro
The Font I Used - Available to buy Here - Tigerteeth.
My Supplies - Here
This includes both the tube I used and my mask.
The tube is by the very talented Audieanne at Montage Menagerie.
Many thanks Audieanne for your kind permission to use your tubes.
1. Open the tube and mask in PSP. Minimise the mask for now.
Shift & D to duplicate the tube and close the original for future use.
Image > Resize by 60% Bicubic Resample, All layers - Checked.
Image > Canvas Size 400 width x 400 height,
Centre Image Horizontally and Vertically both checked.
2. In your layer palette, click on the watermark layer to make it active.
Layers > Arrange > Move Down.
Floodfill this layer with solid colour #AA1C1C.
3. Masks > New > From Image as follows.
4. Masks > Delete.
Click on Yes to the pop-up window.
Effects > Blur > Gaussian Blur = 1.
5. In your layer palette, click on your tube layer to make it active.
Using your Selection Tool, set at rectangle, feather 0, Antialias - checked.
Select a section of the tube at the bottom similar to this.
6. Selections > Modify > Feather by 15.
Hit delete on your keyboard twice.
Selections > Select None.
7. Using your Selection Tool, with the same settings, select a section
of the leopard print from the wild cat on the left or the bikini.
Selections > Convert To Seamless Pattern.
Minimise this leopard print pattern tile.
Selections > Select None.
8. Set your foreground to solid colour #54371A.
Set your background to pattern and locate the leopard print.
Scale = 100. Angle = 0.
Click on your text tool and apply your text using these settings.
If you don't have Tigerteeth, you can use any text you prefer.
8. Selections > Promote To Layer.
Effects > 3D Effects > Inner Bevel with these settings.
9. Using your Mover Tool, position the text to where you're
happy with it. You can use my finished sig above as a guide.
Effects > 3D Effects > Drop Shadow with these settings.
10. In your layer palette, click on your tube layer to make it active.
Effects > 3D Effects > Drop Shadow using the same settings.
11. In your layer palette, click on your mask layer to make it active.
Effects > 3D Effects > Drop Shadow using the same settings.
12. Layers Merge > Merge Visible.
Click on your crop tool.
In your Tool Options Palette, click on Crop Settings.
Select Opaque Area - Current Layer = Checked.
Click on OK. Then click on Crop Image.
13. Layers > Merge > Merge All (Flatten).
Save as a JPG and you're done!
