Trips in India

Personally, I feel I love nature a lot. The scenic beauties of Western Europe still linger in my mind. I like to watch the sunrise and the sunset in the morn and evening (pleasant timings) from building top. Obviously, when I travel in hill stations like Ooty, I become infatuated with the natures beauty. When I see the scenic beauties, God's Gift to humankind, and on the other side suffering of people (with money and without money), then I generally recollect a telugu poem 'Bale Bale andalu srustichaavu, mammu meppichavu, Prabhu aa anandam, aa makarandam maakela iyyavu' (Oh God, u have created wonderful beauties  (nature here :-)) and impressed us, but why don't you bestow us (all) the same happiness and sweetness thru out our life). So forcefully demanding God to give joy and contentment to all beings  in all times, I continue with the travelogue.

December 2004, 18th - 19th OOTY trip.

One of the most famous hill stations in India, Ooty,  was the best choice to make our trip a most memorable and enjoyable one.

I should say, that all the friends in the trip were the most lively and fun-loving people. As one of my friend (Ruddi) truly said, with all the briskly people (friends) around we can even bring life to Sahara Desert. The train trip from Ooty to Coonor (Downward journey) was a wonderful experience. Elephants nose, tea plantations, water falls etc were the other highlights. I should not forget the merriment we had in 'Columbus' in boating park in Ooty.
