| After completing post-secondary education I got through the entrance exam for admission to University Engineering Colleges.My basic interest in Transportation Engineering motivated me to take Civil Engineering which deals with it.(Unfortunately there is no specialised course like Bachelors in Transportation Engg. in India).This University(Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University College of Engineering,Hyderabad) is the first Technological University of India and has a great reputation in the state. In this 4 year Engineering course I tried my best to do well. My final year thesis titled "Geographical Based Road network Configuration planning for urban areas- A computerized graphical approach-Hyderabad City as study area" has increased my research interests in transportation. With the help of Dr.Lakshman rao, Head and proff, Dept. of Transportation Engg. I started my graduate study search in transportation. Thus I landed in Chalmers University , Sweden in Logistics and Transportation. |
