CZECH - Travelogue (2003)

On 29th April 2003, I with my Chalmers friends stepped in Praha(local native name for Prague). The city is famous for its historical monuments. Many castles,the royal palace, Jewish temple etc. Here the cost of living is around 1/3 rd in comparision with western europe. We enjoyed good food, and here beer is cheaper than a water bottle.So some of my friends even carried some beer tins back to Sweden. In czech we visited two companies: Staropramen- the beer company, Skoda Auto- the car maker. There the company representatives discussed the logistics management of their products. In Staropramen we were able to visit their central warehouse, which was drowned in 2002 floods. In Skoda we went to the assembling line of cars and  a small exhibition of skoda cars.
