Germany - travel and study visit.
								The trip to Germany,along with seven other friends started on 26th April 2003 from Gothenburg,Sweden.Our first stop was Hamburg. Hamburg is the centre of North Germany both culturally and commercially. On 28th we had a wonderful study visit to the Port of Hamburg. As a logistics student I was bewitched by the activities going in the port.One of the largest port's in the world and Centre for all exports and imports in middle and eastern Europe, Hamburg really is a ever buzzing city with commerce. We visited many places in hamburg that includes Banana Museum, the grand Alster lake in the centre of the city etc.. and the annual Marathon was just taking place on the day of our visit. After Hamburg, we went straight to Prague,Czech. Then in return came to Berlin and stayed for couple of Days. It was May 1 when we landed in Berlin. Though the protests of May day blocked us in reaching the youth Hostel at night, a police officer was kind enough to give us the way. Berlin has a long history and the monuments present in the city represent it. the magnificient Bradenburg Gate, Parliament house, world war memorials, ever growing IT,commerce activities etc make this city a diverse one.
