Royal Icing
* ½ cup powdered sugar, sifted
* 6 packets sweet n low
* 1 Tbsp. egg white
* ¼ Tsp. cream of tartar
In a mixing bowl, beat all ingredients on low speed with mixer until blended. Increase speed to medium for 5 minutes until very frothy. Increase speed to high and beat until mixture is bright white, well-blended and thick. Scrape down sides and bottom of bowl to incorporate all ingredients. Transfer mixture to pastry bag fitted with small round tube and use immediately, or place in a sealed container. The mixture will harden unless kept covered.
