The Temptations are a group that will forever define a genre. The Temptations, a part of MoTown Records, was started back in Detroit, in the early 60's. It wasn't until 1964, when Smokey Robinson wrote the song, "The Way You Do The Things You Do" for the Temptations,  made them famous. Since that song jump-started them into popularity, a flow of great songs came from them. Get Ready, My Girl, Beauty Is Only Skin Deep, Just My Imagination, are just a few hits that they had. My favorite song from them is, "My Girl". The classic  members were Otis Williams, Melvin Franklin, Paul Williams, Eddie Kendricks, and David Ruffin. There were many members of The Temps, members were kicked out frequently, namely David Ruffin.  The Temptations were the best of there tyme.
