| Things certainly changed after week 19. It is now Decmber 18, 2003. I got so sick and so depressed that I quit keeping up the page. I was not able to work at my usual performance level and lost my job. However, as with all sad endings great new beginnings come. To finish the tale of my treatment, I began to have heart palpitations and passing out, so the doctor decided to stop the treatment a few weeks early. He assured me that I had a zero viral count long enough to feel secure that the treatment had worked. When the treatment ended, I had horrible withdrawal. I thought I was going to die. After a week of intense pain, fatique and disorientation, I began to get better. Little by little. It took about three months to get the medication out of my system so that I could start to feel normal. By the end of September I was feeling really well. I now can honestly say, I feel better than I have ever felt in my entire adult life. The great new beginning is that I started my own business and I am doing very well.
