Mary's Strawberry Shortcake! Ingredients 1 fresh pint of Strawberry's (cut off tops, and slice thinly) Add 1/4 -1/2 cup sugar to sliced Strawberry's (let sit until it makes it's own syrup) or purchase an already prepared Strawberry Gel (you can usually find it by the fresh strawberries) Serve over a slice of Pound Cake, or Angel Food Cake Top with Whipped Cream!
