Perfect Pecan Pie

Growing up, William loved visiting his southern Grandma. She was a wonderful cook, and an extremely priggish baker, with pie, of all sorts as her specialty. However, since pecans are a plenty down south, Pecan Pie was her favorite to bake

Ingredients
3 eggs
1 cup sugar
1 cup Light or Dark Corn Syrup
2 tbsp. Melted Margarine or butter
1 tsp. vanilla
1 1/4 cups pecans
1 (9-inch) unbaked or frozen deep-dish pie crust


Directions
beat eggs slightly with a fork
Add sugar
corn syrup
margarine
and
vanilla
stir until blended
Stir in pecans
Pour into pie crust


Bake in 350°F oven
For 50 to 55 minutes
or
until knife inserted comes out clean
Cool on wire rack
Sounds very good Grandma!
