This match was a terrible match to watch, but it resulted in us keeping our first ever clean sheet (Well done Graham L).
The match started poorly with ‘the big girls in green tights’ having there longest spell of possession, but they couldn’t capitalise. After a quality first half strike from Tom, we went into the lead with a 1 – 0 lead.
In the 2nd half we pushed forward further, created lots of chances and scored 4 more to make the score 5 – 0. The goals were scored by Andy, Paul, Tom & Alex (I think). A special mention has to be made to my brother Steve, who managed to hit a shot miles out of the court after a lack of composure, it is probably still travelling now.
Anyway it was a good result against a poor team and was not pretty to watch, but who cares we won. I can now gloat about this until next time we play them. |
