| This match report is being written afterwards in season 8 (14.6.04)and unfortunately I can only vaguely remember the result of this match. I think we lost 8 - 1 in our first game against Leigh Boys. I don't know why I remember this, but I just do. |

| This match report is being written afterwards in season 8. This match was a tight match and was our first match in division 3, we played well with Karl in goal and went 3 - 0 up, then Karl got injured and had to go off. We threw Dave in for his first match in goal for us and although he conceeded 2 goals in his first 5 minutes he did well. |

| This match was a complete disaster, we didn't play as a team and we were beaten by a very good side. Previously we had scraped a 3 - 3 draw with them in season 2, but this performance ranks quite low. In the match itself, I scored one (it’s not surprising I can remember that) and I believe Paul and Andy got the other two. Our main problem that night was our defence. I think that we were expecting too much and because of that, time after time, we were getting caught. On a brighter note that night, due to Dave's heroics in goal, he won player of the week. Overall, a terrible start to the season and I did believe at that point, that Leigh Boys would go on to win the division by a mile |
