This was a tight match and if it had gone on for 2 minutes longer, we could have drawn or even won the game.
When we kicked off this match, we didn't know what they were like, but did wonder how good they were, due to them being 2nd in the table. The opponents didn't appear to be as good as there league position suggested and when we got to half time only 2 - 1 down, we thought there was hope.
In the 2nd half, it was terrible, we quickly went to either 5 -1 or 5 -2 down (as usual). We then scraped away, getting in the way of everything. Within the last three minutes of the match itself, we managed to pull it back to 5 - 4 and had them on the back rope.
Overall another 3 minutes and who knows, but it was another good (ish) performance by us. |
