I get many emails, some good and some bad. Most of the emails I get indicate to me that the reader didn't fully read this website. Had they read it they would know that my daughter is now 10 years old, almost eleven. Most emails to me refer to her as 'your baby', which she is no longer, she's a pre-teen. I'm sure she wouldn't appreciate being called a baby if she knew, either. My daughter was born Kaitlin Cierra (KC) Smith on December 19, 1995 at 9:57 p.m. at Luthern Medical Center on 38th Street in Wheat Ridge, Colorado. She weighed 7 lbs 4 oz (my birth weight) and she came out screaming. I'm sure to this day she is making herself known. I certainly hope she does, anyway. Her name now is Kelsey Lauren and she still lives in Colorado, in the mountains. |
I enjoy getting emails, especially the ones that tell me
how my website taught them something which caused
them to change their minds about placing their baby
for adoption. Most of the time I reply. Most women/girls who email me just
want to know they aren't alone in their thoughts about
adoption. I've only had one email that was real nasty. I answered
her once then blew her off.
When she got to the part of 'don't expect me to pity you,' I just blew her off. There is NOTHING on my website that says I'm crying for pity. There is plenty that says I want unsuspecting women/girls to learn what their rights are. I don't want pity and there is nothing that says 'please pity me.' I don't even ask for money, unlike the adoption industry itself. Thanks for stopping by and please be sure to read the whole website. It's a learning experience. |
