*My apologies for spelling mistakes...I'm kinda tired!  :)

I've been halfway interested in politics thus far, and this year I'm paying attention to the presidental race more than I have before.  The person I was voting for isn't in it anymore, but I'm still interested in watching what the candidates are actually talking about.  I've had FoxNews on quite a lot lately, just seeing what is happening.  I have one major question.  Why does everyone have to bash the other person just to look better?  Whatever happened to presenting yourself, what you want to do, and who you are, without attacking the other side?  Both sides do it, and I think it's shameful.  I guess there are times when you have to defend yourself, but do you have to start in on the other person?  It's up there with the crazy amount of money spending.  That just makes me sick, but I guess it is just another subject.

I have one other question.  This is not to draw sides, or anything, but I was wondering why things don't seem to impact Obama.  There have been a lot of things that have come out about the people he associates with and about himself, and yet it doesn't really seem to touch him.  Why do you think this is?

Oh...and one last little annoyance factor...why the heck do people on ANY news network not let each other TALK?  You can't debate anything when you aren't willing to listen to the other, so that you know what they are saying, and have a slight understanding of it.  I really, really wish that they would give each person a good two minutes to state their side, let the other state their side, and then ask questions.  Why do they have to talk over each other?  When they do that, a watcher can NOT make up their own mind, taking into consideration both sides, because they don't know EITHER side.  It's all very sad really.

Okay, so that's my bit on politics...it's horrible that people no longer seem to want to help their country and the people in it, but would rather just maintain or get power, and the money that comes with it.  Sad.
