I am writing to you today because I have just read an article in my local newspaper proposing that the "Bible is the truth", and the writer "objects strongly" to his children being fed "lies" about evolution. Further this irrational person says "we are certainly in the last days....”The times Christians have forecast this! The early followers of Jesus thought he would come again to save them from the Romans in AD 70...We are still waiting. The arrogance of many fundamentalist Christians, is to believe that they are living in these” last days .”

There are no “lies” about evolution. This is science, a continues process to get to the Truth about The world. But if we are not careful fundamentalist Christians will stop our children learning science, in science classes! ,and get them taught “Christian creationism” instead.

But the place to learn about these religious ideas is in a religious studies class, along with religions of Babylonia, Assyria, Egypt, and Rome. Also, Hinduism ,Buddhism, Jainism, Parseeism , Confucianism ,Taoism, and Shinto. Also Islam, Judaism and of course Christianity.

The 1st requirement of Christian belief is to disengage the brain. I am CERTAIN that Christianity is nonsense, because Jesus said NOTHING about the undiscovered planets ,to take just one example. Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter, and Saturn were known to the ancient people, Uranus ,Neptune, Pluto, the many asteroids and comets were not.

I have read the Bible and I can find no reference to these other real” HEAVENLY BODIES”, which you may have supposed the Son of the creator of the Universe would know about. He also, for example never looked at the moon and said something like"one day people will go there”, even if his followers might have thought he was a bit mad, I would think it would have been recorded somewhere in the Bible. Don't they get it? Will they ever open there eyes? ,and start asking some simple questions? Belief in this book is blind unreasoning faith at its worst. Its not what is in it, but what is NOT ,in it.

Christianity is a dying religion .Actually the religion should be called “Paulanity” . The only way this religion will last is if its main early figure (PAUL OF TARSUS) should come again. The 2nd coming. But of course he nor anyone else can arise from the dead. ...13/04/2002 CE.
