About Us

Laura was born and raised in Riverside California. She is the youngest of 6 children. From a young age Laura has been around animals, which has given her the love she has for them today. Laura was even involved in 4H at around the 8 years and used to show her prize rabbits. Now she helps in caring for the many pets that her and Shawn have together. Laura loves the outdoors, animals & is passionate about wildlife conservation.. She especially loves it when she gets to watch her cowboy ride bulls and compete in rodeos. Laura is also an advid archer and one heck of a shot. Laura's other enjoyments include making renaissance garb (costumes) and being on horseback. Her goal is to start up a guest ranch business to where she can utilize her expertise in the travel industry and love for being outdoors & wildlife to secure a good living for and her future family.

Shawn Michael was the first one of his family to be born in California. He is the oldest of 3 children. He was raised with the love of the outdoors. His most favorite place in the world growing up was at his family's cabin. Shawn Michael's love for the outdoors was always a constant growing up learning how to snow ski, water ski, play soccer, and ride horses as well as many other sports at an early age. His love for horses has always stuck with him, as he got older even though he was unable to ride as often as he would have liked to. Another love that he developed over the years was his love for adventure going rock climbing with his best friends, and he has even gone bungee jumping many times. His next adventure is to go skydiving and scuba diving in a shark cage so that he can get up close and personal with one of the most beautiful fish in the world. The Great White Shark. But none of these things can compare to the love and passion he has for his Bull Riding , Animals, & Wildlife. Shawn Michael's goal is to make a name for himself in the rodeo arena but most importantly to start his own ranch. Shawn Michael's ranch will be more than just any ranch  but a wildlife preserve and rehabilitation center for our native and exotic wildlife. His ranch will rehabilitate injuried wildlife and reintroduce them back to their natural enviroment safely. Shawn Michael's ranch will also serve as a wellness retreat for people to get away from the city as well as a place that city kids & under privileged children can come and learn about something that Shawn Michael is really passionate about......"Wildlife Conservation".
